The Mighty Reds
Pride and Passion
At PUSC, your right to privacy and data security is a primary concern. When you visit www.prospectunited.com.au, we help you to maintain control over your personal data on the Internet. We use the following guidelines for protecting the information you provide us during a visit to our site.
MISUSE OF INFORMATION
PUSC does not make your personally identifiable information available for marketing to third parties under any circumstances.
When we request information from you, we ask for information we need to provide the service to communicate within our community. When we provide you the opportunity to receive newsletters or other information, we may ask for information about your details to determine which of our committee units can best serve you.
When you set up your details, please maintain that information, we use the information you provide us about yourself so we can complete our community database. We do not share this information with outside parties.
When you register for events or volunteer to help a committee unit from our site, we give you the opportunity to receive additional information and updates on our related services. We will not use information you submit to our Web site for this purpose unless you give us your consent on either our online forms or email.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our Web site and to share with our community. For example, we may tell a publisher that a certain number of individuals visited a certain area on our Web site or that a certain number filled out a registration form, but we do not disclose anything that could be used to identify the individuals.
We never use or share the personally-identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to those described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated use.
USE OF EMAIL ADDRESS
Return Email Addresses
We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
Email messages to existing members
Out of respect for the privacy of our community we present the option not to receive e-mail messages related to events and services. Please see "Opting out" below.
Email Addresses obtained from Events
We use e-mail addresses that we obtain through online forms at events, registration, seminars, and business reply cards to market our products and services. If you receive an e-mail message from us following such an event, we will give you the option not to receive future e-mail messages related to product promotions and services by replying to the message. Should you have other questions or concerns about these privacy policies; send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
When we ask for information, our users are given the opportunity to "opt-out" of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site. For example, our online forms have an opt-out option. Also, users who no longer wish to receive our promotional materials may opt-out of receiving these communications by e-mailing us at email@example.com

PUSC'S ONLINE SECURITY
PUSC understands that online security is important to you. We use multiple methods to maintain security while keeping the site as accessible as possible to our valued community members. See Terms and Conditions for limitations on PUSC's responsibility to maintain security. PUSC uses the following security technology to protect your privacy. They are:
Secure Socket Layer with real-time encryption: PUSC's Catalog is built on Netscape's Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Windows Internet Explorer users. The Secure Socket Layer prevents unauthorized access to your personal information. As long as you are using a Secure Socket Layer browser like Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer, you can conduct end-to-end encrypted transactions without fear of an intermediary obtaining your credit card information. SSL is the industry standard for security. If you do not see the Key icon (Netscape) or the Padlock icon (Internet Explorer) it is because the page you are viewing is being displayed within a frame. If you look at the URL for that page you can tell it is an encrypted link by the "s" in "https://..."
In addition to the external protection provided by SSL, PUSC has its own firewall and hardware. These are designed to prevent others from accessing your data or accessing PUSC databases.
