Under 13 Div 1 Heading to Kanga Cup
We are pleased to announce that our U13 Division 1 team will be representing Prospect United at the Kanga Cup in the July School Holidays.
The Kanga Cup is the largest International Youth Football Tournament in the Southern Hemisphere. Held annually each July in Canberra, Australia, the week long event proudly champions the mission of Uniting the Youth of the World through Football. The Kanga Cup is run by Capital Football, the governing body for football in Canberra. The tournament is sanctioned by the Football Federation Australia and the Asian Football Confederation.
Further details about the competition can be found here : About the Kanga Cup
As you can appreciate, the costs associated with sending an extensive team of players, families & personnel to assist, manage, and nurture the side isn’t without its challenges.
The team will be arranging fundraising initiatives over the next few weeks. Postings will be made on our social pages and around the grounds.
The key event for the team will be a Trivia Night on Saturday 18th June 2016.
This fun evening will include tricky trivia questions, lucky door prizes, raffles and auctions; where all proceeds will go towards funding this amazing experience.
Tickets are selling fast so please get in quick if you would like to attend this event.
Trivia Night Flyer
From Thursday 12th May the team will be running a BBQ at the grounds from 6pm on Tuesday and Thursday Nights. They will be setting up on top of the hill on the way down to the back field. Come and have a Sausage Sandwich and support the team.
Alternatively, if you have the ability to donate something to assist the team with their fundraising please contact firstname.lastname@example.org

Parklea SFC - Rules for Spectators Morgan Power Reserve
Please be aware of the following advice received from Parklea SFC in relation to spectators at Morgan Power Reserve.
Please support Parklea and represent Prospect positively by following these rules.
Hi all, As an effort to reduce wear on the playing surfaces we will be enforcing that only players, coaches and managers enter the fenced perimeter of Morgan Power Reserve. This will be enforced from under 5’s through to over 35’s. We have designed our miniroo fields to have optimum viewing for all age groups and many are only a few metres from the fenced area. If you could all please forward this on to your team coaches and managers so everyone is in the know about the rules at Parklea SFC.
Thanks in advance.
